We ended up eating quite often at our villa in Tuscany. Shaun makes a mean pizza dough, so after we finally found some yeast (we came back with baking power once, mistaking it for yeast), one evening we had a pizza party. Man, it was good. Extra onions chopped up on the side for them that wanted, and a portion made quite plain for our Bradley... Seems that everything tasted better in Italy. The tomatoes were better, the olive oil, the herbs snipped just minutes before use, and the provolone - Oh my god, the provolone! All washed down with some good red wine... Mmmm...
And as I type this, Brad is making strawberry jam downstairs... Is there anything that smells better than strawberries being boiled for jam?

The finished product - we had two of these, made using the bottom part of broiler pans for pizza plates

Maria be careful how you slice it!
