The little quote below from Overheard in New York reminds me of the time we were at Jordan Pond House in Acadia National Park in Maine. A tour bus of seniors from The Far South had just unloaded. There was a large wild rose bush nearby with very large rose hips. One of the ladies drawled to a worker who was standing beside the bush: "'Cuse me, miss, are they tomahtoes?"
Sorry, Ma'am, All the Guatemala Got Deported.
Older lady, with heavy Southern belle drawl: Excuse me, miss, is this Guatemala?
Sandwich shop clerk: What?
Older lady, indicating green condiment on her croissant sandwich: I really think this is Guatemala. Is it?
